If religion preaches equality and generosity, why disparity and indignity

If religion preaches bliss and enlightenment, why grief and bewilderment

If religion teaches to share and help, why seize and harm

If religion preaches impartiality, why discrimination and bigotry

If religion preaches truthfulness and honesty, why deceitfulness and disloyalty

If religion preaches integrity and unity, why hypocrisy and animosity

If religion breeds peace-loving mortals, why extremist and radicals

If religion preaches non-violence, why violence

If religion preaches pacifism, why terrorism 

If religion summons to spruce up, why mess up

If religion preaches honour, why dishonour

If religion preaches valour, why fear

If religion preaches piousness and holiness, why wickedness and unholiness

If religion preaches faith and belief, why infidels and stoolpigeons 

If religion preaches gender equalitarianism, why mysgonism  

If religion preaches to pray to the DIVINE, why self-proclaimed decoys

If religion preaches to be unconditional, why enforce conditions

If religion preaches discipline and orderliness, why errantness

If religion preaches wholeheartedness, why emotionlessness

       

If religion preaches asylum and retreat, why refugees and outcasts

If religion preaches to heal, why hurt

If religion preaches charity, why commercialize it 

If religion preaches moderation, why eternity

If religion preaches liberation, why slavery and oppression

If religion teaches Salvation, why endangerment

If religion can’t be revered, then why insult it and leverage it for evil!

If religion is everything, then why fret for the wellbeing of our successors …

Where do I go …?

It’s been so long I have been searching and wandering …

Running hither and thither with obscure weeps and soundless hollering …

Now, I am oblivious of where it is hiding

It has to be my world, my ethereal Earth …

Attempting to least seek from ‘The Divinity’ the reason for my suffering

All that I ask is Where do I Go …

Now being destined amidst the complex, I choose to walk away from all the bonding

Engulfing and consoling my soul into the world of despair without regretting

All that I ask is Where do I Go …

Dreams of eternal joy and endearment keep on thriving

Handful of blissful moments was my only craving

Now that its been seized leaving me excruciating

I wonder what it is that ‘The Divinity’ is achieving

All that I ask is Where do I Go …

The only thing left of me is the undesirable need to keep breathing

Which I vow to surrender without a single fleck of misgiving

The conspiracy of Time keeps on recurring,

Parts of which are both pleasing and harrowing

Priceless moments of the bygones is the only thing left for Cherishing

Standing powerlessly to see my house of cards falling

Leaving squalor that’s actively fuming
